A PLA order at DECORDS starts from €9.50, including preparation. The estimate depends on the model’s dimensions, material, size tier and quantity. Delivery and any modeling work are priced separately.

When printing a single part makes sense
A broken handle, missing cap or holder made for one particular object can be surprisingly difficult to buy. You may have to find a compatible spare or replace something that otherwise works. 3D printing lets you start with one part. Compare the complete solution: preparing a model, printing it and receiving the order.
A simple cap may already have a suitable printable file. In that case, the job can begin with the printing parameters. A mounting bracket designed from scratch also needs modeling. Two requests that both sound like “a small plastic part” can therefore have very different budgets.
How the DECORDS estimate is calculated
Upload an STL or OBJ to the 3D printing calculator and check its physical dimensions. The estimate uses the model’s outer bounding box: length, width and height. Material, quantity and size tier also affect the result. Preparation is €4.50 once per order and is already included in the minimum order price.
A bounding box is not the amount of plastic in the finished part. The calculator does not subtract hollow spaces or use a slicer to measure supports and printing time. A hollow vase and another object with the same outside dimensions can therefore receive the same initial estimate.
Compare prices before sending a request
The examples below use one PLA part in the standard size tier. All three dimensions change together, so making an object larger can increase the price substantially. These examples include preparation and Estonian domestic VAT at 24%, but not delivery. Cross-border tax treatment is confirmed for the actual order.
An example is a calculation, rather than confirmation that every shape of that size can be printed. The file is checked before production. If you need a different material, a larger format or changes to the geometry, calculate that option and describe the part’s purpose.
| Material | From |
|---|---|
| PLA | €9.50 |
| PETG | €10.40 |
| ASA | €12.50 |
| TPU | €12.30 |
| Outer dimensions | Printing including preparation |
|---|---|
| 2 × 2 × 2 cm | €9.50 |
| 10 × 10 × 10 cm | €27.00 |
| 20 × 20 × 20 cm | €184.50 |
Prices include Estonian VAT at 24%. These are calculation examples; printability is confirmed from your file. International tax treatment is reviewed separately.

Start with what the part needs to do. PLA may be suitable for an indoor decorative model, while an outdoor mounting needs a different discussion. Avoid increasing dimensions just to be cautious. Check the geometry and thickness actually required. For an untested design, ordering a sample first is usually a more useful step than committing to a batch.
For identical parts, see the small-batch printing discounts. One preparation charge is shared across the order, and printing discounts start at the stated quantity thresholds. Reducing internal infill alone does not reduce the price shown by this bounding-box calculator.
A useful first step when the budget is limited
Upload your file, check the size and review the total before submitting. If you do not have a file, use the modeling request form to send a photograph, sketch and description. Include your budget and identify the dimensions or properties that cannot change. That makes it easier to discuss a workable approach.
A low price helps only when the part does its job. A mating component needs the right fit; a loaded part needs its working conditions considered. A small trial order can provide more useful information than a large quantity of an unproven design.
Common questions
Can I order just one inexpensive part?
Yes. Orders start from one part. The PLA minimum is €9.50, including preparation. Upload a suitable model for an estimate.
Does the printing price include modeling?
No. Creating or modifying a model is agreed separately after we review the information. Delivery is shown separately before submission.
Find out what your model will cost.
Upload an STL or OBJ. If you do not have a file, send photos, a sketch and measurements. Modeling and printing are quoted separately.
