Dimensions follow the file axes. Rotating the on-screen model does not change them.
Model size and scale
Changing display units does not resize the print. Use scale to resize it; all three dimensions change proportionally.
Were the file dimensions read incorrectly?
STL does not store units. Coordinates are read as millimeters by default. Change this only if the file was created in other units: it changes the physical print size and price.

Production takes 2–5 days, depending on the model. This starts after the ready-to-print model is approved and payment is received. Shipping takes additional time.

Need it in one day?
Urgent printing is available by agreement. Call or email before ordering so we can review the model and check your deadline.
Upload the file and choose material, color and quantity. Add critical dimensions, operating conditions and your preferred date. Start a new design with one sample.

Review the terms and pay the invoice
Download the invoice after submitting the request. Payment details are in the PDF; use the order number as your payment reference. If material advice or a custom quote is needed, we agree the solution and price first.

Production starts after model review and payment: 2–5 days, usually 3. Then collect your order or use the selected delivery service. Contact us in advance for one-day urgent printing.
BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Answers to help you choose.

How can I check that the part will fit?
Check the width, length and height in the calculator. They are shown in centimeters by default; changing display units does not resize the print. If the coordinates were interpreted incorrectly, open the advanced file-unit setting. Note critical fitting and mating dimensions in your comments. For a new design, start with one sample.
How do I choose a material without 3D printing experience?
PLA suits indoor decorative parts and shape checks, PETG everyday functional parts, ASA outdoor use and TPU flexible parts. Tell us about the environment, loads and heat; appearance alone is not enough to choose. Select “Help me choose a material” and describe the conditions. We agree the material and price first, then issue the invoice.
What will the surface and color look like?
FDM printing builds an object in layers, so layer lines may remain visible. See the real photos of our work. PLA comes in 16 colors; PETG, ASA and TPU are available in black, white and gray. Lighting and screens can affect the perceived shade.
Can I order a single part or a small batch?
You can calculate a price from one part. For a new item, begin with a sample, then estimate the full quantity. Printing discounts are 5% from 10 pieces, 10% from 50 and 15% from 100. Preparation is charged once per order.
What does the displayed price include?
The estimate uses the outer bounding box, material and quantity. Amounts include 24% VAT, shown separately. Preparation is a one-off €4.50 and is already included in the minimum order price. Hollow spaces are not deducted; supports and print time are not calculated by a slicer. Delivery is added at checkout. Estonian orders receive a VAT invoice; international tax treatment is confirmed separately.
Which files can I upload?
Binary and text STL, plus OBJ geometry files, up to 20 MB and 250,000 triangles. STEP and 3MF currently need to be exported to STL or OBJ. Choose color in the calculator; file textures are not carried over. If you have no file, use “I need a 3D model” below and send a photo, sketch or description, dimensions and intended use. We quote modeling separately after reviewing the request.
What is the maximum part size?
Upload the model and the system will read its width, length and height and check whether an estimate is available. If the size needs approval, “On request” appears and you can send the model for review without payment. If the file is too large, the calculator will suggest scaling it down or splitting the model.
When will it be ready, and how do I receive it?
Production takes 2–5 days depending on complexity, usually 3 after the finished model is approved and payment arrives. Tell us your preferred receipt date; we confirm it separately. One-day urgent printing is by agreement: email or call in advance. Modeling has a separate lead time. Pickup: Madara 33/1 - S1 (Decords), Tallinn. Omniva and SmartPosti lockers in the Baltics: €4 and 2–4 days. Airmail outside the Baltics: €6 and 6–12 working days. UPS outside Estonia: €16. Transit times start at dispatch and exclude production.
No 3D model. Where do I start?
Describe what the part needs to do, add dimensions and attach a photo, drawing or sketch in the form below. We assess feasibility and send a proposal. Creating the 3D model is charged separately; the price and timing are agreed from your request.
Can the price change after submission?
The estimate and invoice apply to the uploaded model and selected settings. Delivery is listed separately before submission. Changing the model, material, size or quantity requires a new calculation. Additional modeling and modifications are agreed before work begins. For international orders, the final invoice follows a tax review.
What if the part does not fit?
Email 3dprint@decords.com with the order number, photos and a description of the issue. We compare the result with the agreed model and settings and propose how to put it right. Order one sample first to check the fit of a new design.
How do I repeat an order?
Select “Repeat an order” in the form below. Add the previous order number, quantity and any changes. You do not have to upload the file again: we check whether the original is still available and confirm the settings, current price and timing.
When will I know the modeling price?
After submitting the form, you will see a request number. We review your description and attachments, clarify dimensions if needed and email you a proposal. Modeling starts after the price and terms are agreed.
Who can see my file?
Before submission, the model is processed in your browser. Saving the order places it in the workshop’s private storage. The gallery contains photos of our work; source files from your order are not published there.
An enclosure with a lid or a small display model may contain several printed components. A useful request describes each part and the complete set. That gives the workshop enough information to discuss how they will work together.
A repeat order starts with the version you actually tested. A part’s name and color do not describe every manufacturing parameter. Keep the information that will help the next request refer to the same approved result.
A repair sometimes needs a plastic component that is difficult to buy separately. Before making it, establish the shape, connection and working conditions. A clear brief helps a repair shop discuss the replacement with the printing workshop.
